AVERAGE PAYMENT PLAN
Fluctuating Electric Bills?
Ask about the Average Payment Plan.
The Average Payment Plan allows eligible residential Members to pay on a monthly basis a fixed billing rate of one-twelfth of the Member’s average annual consumption, based on their preceding 13-month's average consumption. Once a year, in June, the Cooperative will compute the sum of the 13 payments which they would have paid and reconcile this amount to the sum of the average payments paid during the 12 months and true-up the account. The Cooperative will recompute the amount of the payments due for the forthcoming 12 months based on changes in the Member's average monthly consumption.
To qualify, you must:
- Meet the Cooperative’s requirements for a Permanent Residential Dwelling or a Permanent Installation.
- Have received service from the Cooperative for the past 12 consecutive months as a Member at the service location
- Maintain a good payment history with not more than one delinquent payment in the last 12 months, and
- Have had no service disconnects for nonpayment during the past 12 months
